S I N O P S I S

Niat awal keberangkatannya menjadi TKW di Hongkong adalah membahagiakan orang tuanya. Namun, karena tidak mampu bersabar memenuhi tanggungan 7 bulan gaji untuk membayar agen, Sekar gegabah meminjam uang pada rentenir. Uang tersebut dikirim ke orang tuanya sebagai bukti keberhasilannya di Hongkong.

Pintu kemalangan terbuka lebar setelah itu, Sekar yang tidak mampu membayar hutang dan paspornya masuk dalam daftar cekal. Apa yang Sekar alami adalah satu warna saja persoalan yang dihadapi para TKW di Hongkong, beberapa teman Sekar juga punya persoalan yang berbeda-beda. Ada yang kondisi keuangannya terus menipis karena dipeloroti oleh kekasih dari Pakistan yang mukanya mirip dengan bintang film Bollywood. Ada juga yang mengalami kisah asmara sesama jenis yang awalnya hanya sekadar naluri kerinduan terhadap kehadiran pasangan hidup.

Tak sanggup mencari jalan keluar, Sekar memilih sembunyi dari teman-teman sesama TKW dan bekerja serabutan. Sekar pun tak lagi berkirim kabar pada orang tuanya. Karena itu pulalah, sang Ayah, Sukardi, yang sangat mencintai dan membanggakan Sekar mendaftarkan Mayang (Lola Amaria), kakak Sekar, untuk jadi TKW ke Hongkong. Tujuannya hanya satu, mencari Sekar.

Mayang ingin mencari tahu di mana dan bagaimana keadaan adiknya yang sebenarnya. Dengan cara yang sama Mayang berangkat ke Hongkong sebagai TKW. Mayang sesungguhnya tidak pernah tergiur untuk menjadi TKW karena dia lebih senang hidup di kampung dengan kebutuhan secukupnya dan tidak menambah persoalan bagi siapapun. Namun keputusan dia kali ini harus diambil sebab dia tidak bisa membiarkan segala sesuatunya tidak jelas. Karakter Mayang yang bertanggung jawab terkadang mengalahkan jiwa kewanitaannya yang sederhana dan lembut.

P L O T

Two British comic book nerds named Graeme Willy (Simon Pegg) and Clive Gollings (Nick Frost) have travelled to America for a huge comic book convention and to visit all the sites of major extra terrestrial importance. On the way to their second site, they stop off at a café, where two soldiers confront them. As they hurriedly leave, they reverse into the soldiers’ car, leaving a dent. At the next site, they see a car blasting towards them and, believing it to be the soldiers, they speed off in their RV. Eventually, the car catches up, and they realize that it is not the soldiers. As it overtakes, it speeds off the road, rolls several times, and comes to a halt in a field. The two shocked men get out to investigate. When they realize that the vehicle is empty and begin phoning the emergency services, they hear a voice telling them not to. They turn around, and a little green alien comes into view, smoking a cigar, and introduces himself as Paul. Clive faints, and Paul explains to Graeme that he is on the run and needs their help. Graeme agrees to let him come. When Clive wakes up, he is not happy about the idea, but is eventually brought around.

Along the way, they are forced to take with them a Christian named Ruth (Kristen Wiig), who, until Paul shows her his memories, believes that there is nothing outside Earth and that God created humans. When he shatters her faith in Christianity, she suddenly becomes eager to ‘sin’, which she was not allowed to do before by her controlling father, who pursues them. She initially doesn't trust Paul, but to prove himself trustworthy, he heals her eye, as she has been blind in it since the age of four. The whole way, three secret agents, apparently eager to kill Paul under orders from a woman over the radio, have tailed them.

Review Titanic II (2010) :
This was the worst piece of television I have ever seen. Shane Van Dyke was having a laugh when he made this. The effects were a total joke, looked like a PC game from about 10 years ago. The story was madness (an 800mph tsunami forces an iceberg into the path of the titanic). James Cameron must have been laughing his head off. Acting was awful, can't believe any actors would star in this film even for money. If you have 2 hours of your life you don't want to get back, you should watch this film. Almost so bad it's actually good. I hope they don't consider a titanic 3 because that would really be a disgrace to the film industry.
